About The Position

The Production Assistant (Production Coordinator) plays a critical role in organizing, scheduling, and supporting basement finishing projects once they move from sales into production. This position ensures projects are scheduled efficiently, crews are properly coordinated, materials are aligned, and homeowners are kept informed throughout the construction process. This is an operations-focused role ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of scheduling, coordination, or operations experience preferred
  • Construction or home remodeling experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Professional communication skills (internal and customer-facing)
  • Experience with CRM, scheduling software, or production systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule basement finishing projects from production start through completion
  • Manage daily and weekly crew schedules
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding scheduling, updates, and adjustments
  • Coordinate with installation crews, subcontractors, and internal departments
  • Track job progress and ensure projects stay on timeline
  • Assist with permit tracking and inspection scheduling
  • Help ensure materials and labor are aligned prior to job start
  • Support resolution of scheduling conflicts or production issues
  • Maintain accurate job documentation and production records
