About The Position

Zymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our Manufacturing team! In this role, you will play a vital part in Warehouse operations and production activities in a biotechnology environment, utilizing your skills and expertise in the Warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials while assisting with basic product assembly and kitting tasks. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, or material handling
  • Forklift certified
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
  • Basic computer skills for inventory or warehouse systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or quality-controlled processes
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems (SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
  • Experience with light assembly or kitting processes

Responsibilities

  • Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations following FIFO/lot tracking procedures
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for production
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or ERP software
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Perform light assembly of kits, components, or product packaging following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Label, package, and prepare finished goods for distribution
  • Assist production teams with staging materials and preparing workstations
  • Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and specifications
  • Report material shortages, quality concerns, or process issues to supervisors
  • Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and company quality standards
  • Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
  • Properly handle and store sensitive biological or laboratory materials when applicable
