About The Position

We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Production Material Coordinator to ensure materials flow accurately and on time to our production lines. The role is responsible for material availability, inventory accuracy, discrepancy resolution, and continuous improvement of material flow processes. Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm), with overtime as required Location: Raycap Leeds Avenue Facility

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related fields would be desired.
  • 1–3 years in material coordination, inventory control, or production support.
  • SAP/ERP experience and strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs.
  • Highly organized, accurate, proactive.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Adaptable in fast‑paced environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in electronics or electromechanical manufacturing.
  • Exposure to Lean, 5S, or CI tools.
  • Smartsheet/workflow‑tool experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure nonstop material availability for production.
  • Pull, stage, and kit materials aligned with production schedules.
  • React quickly to shortages and support the production team to avoid downtime.
  • Execute all goods movements (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments) in SAP.
  • Maintain clean,accurate, real‑time system inventory.
  • Support order closing and correction of transactional variances.
  • Investigate mismatches, mislabels, BOM issues, or incorrect postings.
  • Perform physical-to-SAP reconciliations and document findings.
  • Implement corrective actions with warehouse, production, procurement, and quality.
  • Track recurring issues and drive actions toeliminateroot causes.
  • Perform cycle counts and support inventory audits.
  • Verify incoming materials and escalate nonconformities.
  • Maintain proper labeling, storage discipline, and traceability.
  • Identify improvements in kitting, staging, labeling, ERP data accuracy, and flow efficiency.
  • Support 5S and waste‑reduction initiatives.
  • Update work instructions and standard processes.
  • Communicate shortages, discrepancies, and risks across teams.
  • Align daily with planning, procurement, warehouse, and production supervisors.
