About The Position

You will be the Production Operations Lead for the Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for driving production operations excellence across new development programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Operations Lead you will be responsible for leading cross‑functional efforts that ensure new products meet production requirements and are delivered on schedule. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead Manufacturing and Industrial Engineers to meet production requirements. Partner with Design Engineers to ensure design for manufacturability and assembly. Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to align procurement and logistics. Support proposal generation and contract‑funded product development. Analyze and resolve programmatic issues across multiple locations. Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, cost, quality, and schedules
  • Manufacturing experience in Optics, IR Sensors, or Lasers
  • Previous lead or leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
  • Experience with manufacturing automation concepts and implementation
  • Experience with manufacturing simulation / modeling tools
  • Experience with advanced manufacturing and materials concepts including additive manufacturing
  • Experience in proposal estimating for Operations functions
  • Ability to act as a liaison between multiple functions including external subcontractors
  • Ability to lead and influence teams across multiple locations
