In this role, you will be a part of a dynamic Operations Team, and collaborate with others, to build upon our tradition of innovation and quality, and maintain Olympus Controls’ position as a leading robotics and automation company. The production planner is focused on all activities required to coordinate the supply chain, manufacturing, and assembly operations; fulfilling customer demand efficiently and predictably. Additional details about what you will be doing includes: Analyze plant capacity data to determine resource constraints and adjust plans accordingly. Plan, schedule, prioritize operations, and production routings to maximize performance and reduce delays. Adjust schedules in real time to mitigate risks caused by material shortages, equipment downtime, or labor constraints. Issue purchase requisitions and collaborate with procurement to resolve shortages or long-lead items. Assist with generating production-related costs and lead-time inputs for customer quotes to ensure accurate and timely pricing. Coordinate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure raw materials, components, and subassemblies are available to meet production schedules. Using market forecasts and competitive analysis to anticipate necessary production changes. Why join us?
