About The Position

As a Production Specialist- Premedia- II you will play a key role working with Retail Copy & Print Centers, Inside/Outside Sales, DPF plants, and other required teams to recreate, preflight, impose, proof, and output digital art files, utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other Premedia software as needed. Utilizes online workload management site, proofing software, and other output platforms for approval. Ensures projects are delivered with the expected style, quality, accuracy, required due times, and industry standard guidelines to achieve department goals. Key deliverables and main areas of focus: Production of daily jobs from within working queues Preflighting, imposing, proofing, and output of digital files Assess documents/instructions accurately and proficiently, applying quality control measures to a variety of printing processes Effectively operate our required programs to complete work, including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Ability to manage time precisely, maintain personal accountability, while meeting timelines and due dates Have open communication with Seniors, Leads, and the management team Work overtime as required, which may include nights and weekends

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
  • Knowledge of printing, prepress and digital outputs
  • Microsoft, Font Management System, etc.
  • Aware of specialty printing processes to have a general understanding for set-up and production
