About The Position

Ohio Valley Goodwill is seeking a highly organized Production Supervisor to be responsible for supervision of all mailroom activities. We are looking for a professional comfortable working in a fast pace work environment, with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Responsible for work assignments, personnel evaluations, receiving and shipping of mail and packages, maintenance of appropriate and required records and reports, customer liaison and communications, employee safe, proper equipment maintenance, quality control and productivity goals and objectives.

Requirements

EDUCATION: High school graduate or GED certificate, some college preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years’ experience as a supervisor.
Basic office computer skills.
Previous mail processing is preferred, as well as prior experience working in customer service.
KNOWLEDGE: Standard office policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Familiar with managing performance-based contracts, implementing and utilizing Statements of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, Performance Tracking, Reporting, Quality Standards, and Procedures.
Must pass extensive criminal background checks.
You must be able to pass the Federal Clearance Background Checks.

Nice To Haves

Previous mail processing is preferred, as well as prior experience working in customer service.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all mailroom activities within the designated faculty.
Schedule and coordinate the delivery and productivity of all contracted services.
Control the acquisition, storage, and distribution of all supplies.
Meet or exceed all quality performance and delivery standards, goals, and objectives.
Establish a training outline for all tasks, provide positional training, and provide appropriate cross-training to ensure delivery standard compliance at all times.
Coordinate production activities to maintain a level and consistent flow, including vendor shipments, inventory flow, setup, production, inspection, packaging, and shipment.
