About The Position

Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing administrative, analytical, and operational support duties related to the administration of National, State, and Local Elections in Wyandotte County. Duties include managing and analyzing departmental data, supporting financial and payroll processes, onboarding new employees, assisting with election systems administration, and supporting operational and voter services functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-documented election administration.

Requirements

  • All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte county or willing to relocate within (12) months from the date of hire.
  • As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer physical examination and drug screen.
  • Submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of related program experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Experience performing administrative, analytical, or operational support work involving data management, reporting, and/or business or government systems (such as information systems, payroll systems, or financial tracking systems)

Nice To Haves

  • one to two years of exposure to Kansas election administration processes, statutes, or election office operations preferred.
