We are seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in advancing Urban Air Mobility (UAM) research and development initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and analytical skills who is looking to grow into a program management position. The Program Control Analyst will work closely with senior program managers, technical teams, and FAA stakeholders to ensure effective project planning, tracking, reporting, and execution of UAM-related activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in program support, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination, with an interest in emerging aviation technologies and the future of air mobility. Requirements

  • Experience in program support, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, project management software).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and practice strong time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work in unstructured situations abstracting what is required based information provided and past experience.
  • Basic understanding of program management principles and methodologies.
  • Interest in aviation, aerospace, or emerging technologies such as UAM, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), or Uncrewed Traffic Management (UTM).
  • Bachelors degree in Business/Public Administration, Engineering, Aviation or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in program support, project coordination, or business analysis or related roles
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • All candidates must Be a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA) Has resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with FAA programs, aviation regulations, or aerospace industry standards.
  • Knowledge of UAM, AAM, UTM, or related emerging aviation technologies.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Professional certifications such as CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or similar credentials.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams or supporting complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work products.
  • Experience supporting government contracts, particularly with the FAA or other federal agency is a Plus

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of FAA UAM research and development programs.
  • Tracking program milestones, deliverables, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion of project objectives.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials for internal teams and FAA leadership.
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of program documentation, including plans, status reports, and risk registers.
  • Coordinating meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, Guided Discussions, and working group sessions with stakeholders, including FAA personnel, industry partners, and research institutions.
  • Analyzing program data and metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting budget tracking, cost analysis, and resource allocation activities.
  • Assisting with risk management activities, including identification, documentation, and mitigation planning.
  • Maintaining program management tools and databases to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Providing administrative and logistical support for program activities and events.
