About The Position

The Program Associate Director is responsible for implementing the complete life cycle of a wide variety of projects, partner programs, and events to ensure planned results are achieved on time and in alignment with Operation Warm's overall strategy. The person in this position will advance the sharing of product and program knowledge, as well as support the sustainable growth of program methodology throughout the business. This position has direct oversight and supervision of other roles in the Program department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of project management and events planning and related experience
  • Experience working in the human service field in some capacity
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline and through the entire life cycle
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and mentor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM
  • Proactive, with a results-driven and problem-solving approach
  • Detail oriented with well-developed organization skills
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple projects, and adept at prioritizing
  • Unwilling to accept any unethical conduct or outcomes that threaten the mission or values of Operation Warm

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using Asana preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
  • This position requires some travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all assigned projects to completion ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands and maintenance of overall project ownership
  • Assign and manage team tasks in Asana to ensure completion
  • Utilize reports and dashboards to track program progress against KPIs and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assume responsibility for managing exemptions and escalations from the program managers
  • Participate in weekly meetings with corporate partners to communicate and provide updates regarding partnership progress, impact achieved and future opportunities
  • Demonstrate experience in large scale event planning and project execution
  • Proactively collaborate and coordinate with Fundraising and Marketing teams to advance overall partner relationships
  • Recommend new processes and tools to achieve advanced results
  • Create and maintain process workflow documents to support business needs
  • Address problems through risk management and contingency planning and present solutions and/or options to management
  • Ensure effective implementation of solutions/changes
  • Proactively collaborate and coordinate with Fundraising and Marketing teams to advance overall partner relationships
  • Manage the Program team members, support a team culture and hold the team to a high standard of partner satisfaction
  • Other duties, as assigned
  • Provide direct supervision and leadership of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, staff development, timesheet approval, and workplace oversight.
  • Uphold and enforce the company's policies and procedures and work with Human Resources to correct and support employee behavior and underperformance, when needed
  • Work with the Human Resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel, and oversee employee training programs in your areas of direct supervision. Support career development.
