About The Position

To advance the organization’s mission and vision, PAI is hiring a highly-experienced, strategic, and dynamic Program and Research Lead of AI, Labor, & Economy (AILE) to be based remotely in the US. This role will be filled by a strategic operator, substantive contributor, and partnership and project manager with demonstrated experience managing complex multi-stakeholder initiatives. PAI is committed to ensuring that the effects of AI deployments on workers are beneficial, not harmful, and that workers in high, medium, and low-income countries have a role in steering the development of AI. Reporting to the Head of AI, Labor, & Economy, the Program and Research Lead of AI, Labor & Economy is a critical member of the PAI team and will serve as both an operational backbone and substantive contributor to the team’s cross-organizational and multistakeholder efforts to shape how AI impacts the economy and workforce globally over the next 2-7 years.
