ITility is seeking an experienced, performance driven Program Security Officer to join our PMO supporting a new government client and is contingent on contract award. Primary duty location: McLean, VA (customer site); occasional presence at ITility, Chantilly HQ. Some hybrid work may be possible. Managing both physical and cybersecurity operations, overseeing staff, and advising executive leadership on risk. Responsible for offices’ security posture, including the development, implementation, and management of policies, procedures, and systems. Cross collaboration with matrixed industry support teammates.

Requirements

  • 10+ years security experience with 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Polygraph.
  • Experience managing security programs in a government environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs (eg. ICD 503/704/705), SEADS, and relevant Executive Orders pertaining to Security Compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of security databases DISS / NISS / NBIS familiarity and Scattered Castles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing security policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in classified spaces (SCIF) and follow customer site procedures.
  • Commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Nice To Haves

  • FSO/AFSO experience supporting a cleared facility (NISP / 32 CFR Part 117)
  • ICD 704/705 expertise
  • Familiarity with security processing workflows and systems used for visit/access actions (as applicable to the program).
  • IC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and coordinate security activities in accordance with company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable Government and IC security policies and program procedures
  • Establish and maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractor employees, and managers.
  • Maintain training/briefing records and compliance metrics; brief PMO leadership monthly.
  • Update security systems of record (e.g., DISS, Scattered Castles, customer systems)
  • Process and track personnel security actions (in-processing/out-processing, visits, accesses, indoctrinations/debriefs) and maintain documentation in systems of record.
  • Provide day-to-day security support to the PMO, Government security office, program staff, and vendors (visits, badges, access rosters, classified meetings, secure courier/transfer coordination as required).
  • Work security issues with the Internal and External Directorates and Offices in physical, personnel operational, technical, information, industrial and information system security
  • Collaborate with government agencies and clients on security-related matters.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Must be willing to travel locally.
