Job Description To assist and support the Project Manager and Job Site Foreman in the administrative function at the assigned location(s). This position will begin at a job site in Abilene, Texas. Summary This position will be part of the site operations team. The Project Administrator will assist in the completion of various functions including, but not limited to, payroll distribution, new hire safety orientations, document control and data entry. The selected candidate will also serve as the Onsite Coordinator to assist WPI employees and serve as a liaison between the site and the WPI Sparks office on employee and job site issues.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail, with an ability to adhere to a timelines and deadlines.
  • Work well in a team setting.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities and problem resolution skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
  • Computer experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Self-disciplined individual with strong work ethic. Performs efficiently on their own with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to safety policies and ensure confidentiality of all employees' records and documents.
  • Reliable transportation to report to jobsite(s) 17+ miles out of town and make occasional deliveries. Mileage will be reimbursed.
  • 1-year administrative experience, construction environment a plus.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Excel and data entry.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English and Spanish is a plus.
