The Project Controller provides strategic financial governance and operational oversight for construction projects, ensuring disciplined cost management, compliance, and adherence to organizational standards. This role leads Cost Per Passing (CPP) audits, evaluates and optimizes Bills of Materials (BOMs), and directs corrective actions to maintain budget integrity and operational efficiency. The Project Controller owns the development and administration of project controls processes—including SOP management, financial documentation oversight, invoice validation, and work order auditing—while exercising independent judgment in applying policies, analyzing financial impacts, and supporting decision-making across cross-functional teams. Through comprehensive reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation activities, the role delivers critical insights that guide project planning, resource allocation, and overall financial performance.
