About The Position

We are looking for a Project Controls Analyst that can provide detailed financial controls management, reporting and oversite with weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Advanced or Expert Excel and financial modeling abilities.
  • Subject matter expert and specialist on complex finance, accounting, and business matters.
  • Advanced or Expert level with 3 – 7+ years of hands-on financial systems experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting deliverables.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and drive tasks across multiple teams and departments where required.
  • Ability to drive projects within a matrixed company environment.
  • Ability to manage projects and to supervise and coordinate the efforts of other Analysts within the Finance Team where required.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis project of medium to complex level financial analysis projects or responsible for driving the preparation, coordination, and documentation of more complex financial analysis and modeling projects.
  • Preparing forecasts and analysis of trends, monitors budget execution, and variances across one or multiple projects or oversees the preparation of forecasts and analysis of trends, monitoring budget execution, and variances across one or multiple projects.
  • Identifies trends, anomalies and patterns in financial data and reports insight backed findings to various levels of management or may conduct special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  • Management of project work orders and vendor contracts depending on the scope of the assigned project and support level requirements of the project manager.
  • Conducing special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
  • Tracking contractor and sub-contractor contract related deliverables and items to ensure compliance and completion or could be responsible for the management of project work orders and vendor contracts depending on the scope of the assigned project and support level requirements of the project manager.
  • Managing and/ or tracking purchase requisitions and RFP processes.
  • Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
  • Partners with one or multiple business units to design and develop costing/profitability models and reports for the Finance Team.
  • Development and management of contract status dashboards and reports.
