Requirements

  • 5-8 years minimum recent professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in project or construction.
  • BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree. Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
  • Able to travel to LACCD campuses
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on Educational programs/projects.
  • Experience on large public works programs.
  • Experience with Trimble Unity Construct.
  • Experience with audits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and coordination support to the QA/QC department.
  • Collaborate with PMO staff, College Project Teams (CPT), and college personnel.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead QA/QC meetings.
  • Conduct field checks and site walks to verify compliance with KPIs and other metrics.
  • Support CPTs and PMO in matters related to SOPs, KPIs, and assessments.
  • Prepare written materials such as reports, guidelines, and correspondence.
  • Develop monthly status reports for assigned construction projects.
  • Review construction change orders, field orders, and professional services contracts.
  • Manage data collection for status reporting and coordinate documentation reviews with CPT/PMO.
  • Assess project risks and collaborate with CPTs to produce accurate status reports.
  • Facilitate resolutions to QA/QC-related issues and ensure timely responses to RFIs.
  • Maintain project files, generate meeting minutes, and support KPI development and monitoring.
  • Support audits, process improvement efforts, trending reports, SOP gap analysis, and QA/QC metric compliance.
