Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC Controls, OR Construction Management
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have a valid and current Driver’s License and be insurable by our company’s insurance carrier
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access and other Windows products
- Experience with Microsoft Visio (other CAD software acceptable).
- Ability to report to assigned work location reliably.
- Able to balance multiple concurrent priorities.
- Aptitude for problem-solving.
- Time management skills, including the ability to estimate the time required to complete tasks and deliver on the committed timeline.
- Competent verbal and written communicator.
- Aptitude for translating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design tasks for the completion of building automation systems.
- Assist with documentation of the BAS design (i.e., submittals) and revision control of the resultant documents.
- Assist with site-specific configuration of the WebCTRL system (using SiteBuilder).
- Assist with the programming of control algorithms.
- Assist with the development of graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems (using Eikon and ViewBuilder).
- Assist with final documentation of the building automation system that incorporates all changes made since the issuance of the submittal.
- Clear communication and proactive expectation setting with manager and internal project teams.
- Adherence to safety standards.
- High regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
- Adherence to ethics standards.
- Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics.
- Other duties as assigned.
