About The Position

Project Management Analyst The Opportunity: Provide project management support to a federal energy client for research and development ( R & D ) programs. Work with a project team to support all aspects of the project life cycle, including project initiation, solicitation, and procurement. Monitor project performance against awards, cost, schedule, and milestones. Prepare written reports and briefs to illustrate project status and accomplishments. Coordinate and support meetings and conferences. Work in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality output on time and within budget . Work directly with the client to assist with developing and executing research and development projects successfully. Assist with operational analysis and procedures, draft memoranda, and participate in multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with program or project support to a government or R&D organization
  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Management Analyst, Project Assistant, Project Coordi nato r, Scheduler, or Project Management Finan cia l Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience with schedule management, project finan cia l management, quality management, scope management, or project management
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
