Project Management Manager
About The Position
The Manager of Project Management – Wastewater is responsible for leading the project management department in executing commercial projects related to the company’s sampling system products. This role oversees the successful design, manufacturing, and shipment of customer orders while maintaining strict control over costs, schedules, and overall project performance. The position ensures customer satisfaction and alignment with company business goals, technical guidelines, and contractual requirements. Acts as Project Management Authority regarding Sentry Sampling System projects, mentoring and assisting other project managers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor project managers, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Ensure project managers effectively execute orders through design, manufacturing, and shipment phases.
- Promote professional growth within the team by providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Manage overall project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring deliverables meet company and customer expectations.
- Develop and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to the leadership team to measure departmental and project performance.
- Address and resolve project risks or issues in a timely manner
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, including Regional Sales Managers, Direct Sales/Application Engineers, and various departments (Engineering, Quality, and Finance).
- Ensure all project deliverables comply with contractual requirements, technical guidelines, and company standards.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of required project documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project execution efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to align departmental strategies with company goals.
- Occasional travel to project Kick-Off meetings, project startups, etc.
