About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Project Management Manager – Planning and Scheduling (Level K) to join our 787 Customer Introduction Integrated Scheduling team in North Charleston, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team leading 787 Customer Introduction Integrated Scheduling. In this role you will manage a diverse team of integrated schedulers, integrate key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk to coded introductions, and support the program with readiness tied to the increase in coded intro volume.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role?
  • 3+ years of experience in leading or managing a cross-functional team
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership
  • 3+ years of experience do you have in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience managing a diverse team or direct reports
  • 1+ years of experience in Open Plan Professional (OPP) and/or Microsoft Project (MS-Project) schedule applications
  • Experience in Customer introduction, Finance, Change management, Sales/contracts, Business operations
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manages employee groups engaged primarily within the disciplines of Integrated Planning and Scheduling, including Program Planning and scheduling for 787 Customer Introduction Team.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
