We are seeking a high‑caliber, field-focused Project Management professional tolead complex technology initiatives tied to design and construction projectsthroughout IU Health. In this role, you will manage all aspects of technology andinfrastructure delivery for hospital expansions, renovations, urgent care sites,and facility add‑ons, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, andon budget. This position requires strong project management fundamentals, excellentstakeholder communication, and the ability to adapt quickly across highlyvariable projects. While technical understanding is critical, this role places astrong emphasis on organizational skill, collaboration, and growth potential. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing technology and ITinfrastructure delivery for a wide range of capital and construction projectsthroughout IU Health. These projects often include: Hospital expansions and new wings Facility renovations and office relocations Urgent care builds and add‑ons This role project‑manages the full technology scope of these efforts, such ascabling, wiring, systems integration, and application readiness, whilepartnering with design, construction, facilities, vendors, and IS teams. While solutions vary throughout each project, EPIC remains a foundational systemstandard, requiring familiarity with enterprise healthcare technologyenvironments. The Sr. PM typically owns larger, more complex expansion projectsand works closely in the field to coordinate execution. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires an understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, Project Management Methodologies, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
  • Required experience with enterprise PPM (Project and Portfolio Management) tools.
  • Strong working skills with MS Office tools such as MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio etc. is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management.
  • Requires a demonstrated fundamental understanding of project accounting and financial management.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience supporting healthcare expansion or construction‑related technology projects

Responsibilities

  • Complex Project Leadership: Lead high‑priority and complex IS projects encompassing multiple technologies, applications, and business areas to successful and timely completion.
  • Technology Delivery for Construction Projects: Manage all aspects of technology and infrastructure deployment related to design and construction initiatives, including cabling, wiring, systems readiness, and coordination with vendors.
  • Project Planning & Governance: Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource strategies; coordinate through multiple teams and governance groups.
  • Field‑Based Execution: Maintain a strong on‑site presence at facilities to support coordination, issue resolution, and real‑time project execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear day‑to‑day communication with business, clinical, IS, and construction partners regarding progress, risks, and decisions.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets, forecasts, and vendor spend; ensure alignment with financial expectations.
  • Business Process Facilitation: Lead current‑ and future‑state process discussions, requirements elicitation, and solution alignment.
  • Testing & Readiness Oversight: Coordinate development, testing, and readiness activities to ensure technology solutions meet business and clinical requirements.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Demonstrate leadership through influence, organization, and accountability, supporting team learning and growth.
