About The Position

As a Project Manager specializing in Agile Testing for Data projects within the Banking Industry, you will oversee and coordinate testing initiatives to ensure the quality and integrity of data-driven solutions. You will work closely with Agile teams, stakeholders, and testing professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced banking environment. Manage end-to-end Agile testing projects related to data management, data quality, and data migration within banking systems. Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define test strategies, plans, and acceptance criteria. Coordinate the execution of test cases, monitor testing progress, and track defects to resolution. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos with a focus on testing activities. Identify potential risks and blockers related to testing and work with teams to mitigate them promptly. Ensure compliance with banking regulatory standards and data governance policies throughout testing processes. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding testing status and quality metrics.

Requirements

5+ years of project management experience in Agile environments, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software testing principles, especially related to data.
Experience managing data-related testing projects, including data quality, data migration, or data integration.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of banking regulations and data governance frameworks is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Agile project management and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, TestRail).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
Basic asset management knowledge.
Strong PowerPoint/deck creation skills.
Highly client-facing, engaging with senior stakeholders.
Ability to drive conversations and manage expectations.
8-10+ years of experience.

Nice To Haves

Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or ISTQB certifications are a plus.
Understanding of risk and controls is a plus.
Experience within PMO structure.
