The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: The Enterprise Services Business Solutions (ESBS) organization operates as a shared service across RTX, providing essential functions such as payroll, accounts payable, travel & expense, accounts receivable, procurement, records management, accounting, and more to support RTX's core operations. Currently, ESBS is driving several initiatives, including S4 integration of boundary systems, system upgrades, and the implementation of new financial system applications. To support these efforts, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). The PMO's mission is to lead and oversee critical organizational initiatives, ensuring seamless execution, minimizing disruptions, and delivering optimal outcomes.

Requirements

  • This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience in a project execution or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • 5+ years' experience and knowledge of Business Services business processes and technical system knowledge
  • 5+ years of experience in financial system upgrades or implementations.
  • 5+ years experience in leading and coordinating functional projects or operational initiatives.
  • Strong ability to assemble cross-functional teams and drive critical outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business service leaders and managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience leading project teams to develop risk and issue mitigation strategies to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a government and/or large, complex corporate/industrial environment.
  • Expert in creating visually appealing, executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience developing & managing financial business cases & cost/benefit analyses for DT projects
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications (MS Project add-ins/extensions, Excel pivots/analysis, SharePoint advance features, etc.)
  • PMP certification or equivalent professional project management experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure for multiple projects.
  • Identify and track risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals.
  • Report project outcomes and risks to appropriate management channels as needed, escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including deliverables, activities, change management, and timelines.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present project status and options for addressing critical issues to functional leadership, while managing project costs within the approved budget
