About The Position

Zachry Group is currently looking for a talented and self-motivated Project Support Specialist to join our Engineering Department in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a project team on challenging and interesting design projects for various clients within the power, energy & chemicals industries. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the project document responsibilities, required software systems, and corporate operating procedures necessary to function in a fast-paced multitasking environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma / GED.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a project support or document control field. Will consider relevant similar experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe, and SharePoint.
  • Detail orientated and be able to recognize priority of deliverables for processing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have problem solving skills, to strives to understand contributing factors, works to resolve complex situations with appropriate management.
  • Must be dependable by meeting deadlines, working independently, accountable for work, maintains focus, punctual, and good attendance record management.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude and be able to work interdependently or work as a team member when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the logistics and coordination of content development for meetings, conferences, trainings , and other project-related events.
  • Assisting with the transmission of project related documentation.
  • Management of online file transfers.
  • Sending and receiving documentation for project managers, procurement, or any other groups within client .
  • Assist with the preparation of client meetings, reserving conference rooms, coordinating refreshments, collecting, and compiling documents, recording meeting minutes, drafting correspondence, etc.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly expense reports for assigned Project Manager(s) as requested.
  • Assist in the creation of Job Books for each project per the schedule requirement
  • Management of file transfers.
  • Sending and receiving documentation for project managers, procurement document controls, or any other groups.
  • Maintain the complete revision history of each document process throughout the project.
  • Provide weekly reports throughout the life cycle of a project on the status of each document per the project requirements.
