Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 8 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing C, C++ ;, and Java to design and develop Linux/Android-based embedded software for OS platform. 2. Using scripting languages and tools: Git and Jira. 3. Testing embedded software functionality using automation toolchains JTag, Python, C/ C++, UART, and multiple builds from Jenkins. 4. Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems in a target-specific embedded software environment.
  • 6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing embedded software development technologies, including build toolchains and test suites, to manage and deploy Automotive software. 2. Leveraging development tools to monitor and provide real-time analysis of projection software system performance. 3. Utilizing GitHub for source code management for embedded projection software. 4. Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration and multi-cloud continuous delivery to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the testing and deployment process for Automotive software.
  • 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. HW and SW interaction, including usage of projection software stack (CarPlay and Android Auto), vendor-specific SDKs, Java, and C/C++. 2. Utilizing C, C++ or Java programming, including experience developing Linux OS-level software for embedded projection functions like Apple-CarPlay, or Android-Auto. 3. Developing libraries communicating with hardware, host computer and various ECUs for Automotive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful development of next generation software components for electric vehicles.
  • Work with architects, engineers and other technical specialists to design an integrated solution.
  • Define objectives, scopes, timelines, milestones, and deliverables by partnering with cross functional teams.
  • Coordinate with system owners with planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintain solutions for cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools.
  • Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of systems.
  • Integrate solutions with existing embedded systems components.
  • Interface with hardware design team.
  • Provide post-production escalation support.
  • Participate in software and hardware design reviews.
  • Integrate and test new software builds on prototyping vehicle platforms.
  • Deliver artifacts to OTA and program teams for incorporation into production releases.
  • Develop regression tests and ensure proper code coverage for release software.
  • Domestic Travel Required up to 10%.
