About The Position

Lead the successful development of next generation software components for electric vehicles. Work with architects, engineers and other technical specialists to design an integrated solution. Define objectives, scopes, timelines, milestones, and deliverables by partnering with cross functional teams. Coordinate with system owners with planning, implementation approaches, testing, documenting, and maintain solutions for cloud, on premise, and hybrid services, systems or subsystems using defined processes and tools. Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of systems. Integrate solutions with existing embedded systems components. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 8 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing C, C++ ;, and Java to design and develop Linux/Android-based embedded software for OS platform. 2. Using scripting languages and tools: Git and Jira. 3. Testing embedded software functionality using automation toolchains JTag, Python, C/ C++, UART, and multiple builds from Jenkins. 4. Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems in a target-specific embedded software environment. 6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Utilizing embedded software development technologies, including build toolchains and test suites, to manage and deploy Automotive software. 2. Leveraging development tools to monitor and provide real-time analysis of projection software system performance. 3. Utilizing GitHub for source code management for embedded projection software. 4. Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration and multi-cloud continuous delivery to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the testing and deployment process for Automotive software. 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. HW and SW interaction, including usage of projection software stack (CarPlay and Android Auto), vendor-specific SDKs, Java, and C/C++. 2. Utilizing C, C++ or Java programming, including experience developing Linux OS-level software for embedded projection functions like Apple-CarPlay, or Android-Auto. 3. Developing libraries communicating with hardware, host computer and various ECUs for Automotive. We are offering a salary of $264,514.00 - $300,000.00/yr.
