The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a compassionate and committed individual to join our team as a Psychologist at the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center in Omaha. These professionals provide essential support to male youth. This vital role directly supports our mission of Helping People Live Better Lives.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of Nebraska.
• A doctoral degree in psychology is required.
• Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Nebraska is preferred but may have a provisional license as a Psychologist.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with adolescents and families, particularly as it relates to behavioral/mental health disorders and/or substance use disorders and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Review collateral clinical assessments and perform psychological evaluations and/or assessments of clinical need as necessary for residents of the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Centers in Hastings, Kearney, Lincoln, and Omaha.
• Work directly with youth and/or their families for the provision of individual, family and group therapy services.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• May provide training for other Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center staff.
