About The Position

The PT Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position focuses on performing a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks on a part-time basis, contributing to the smooth daily operations of the premises. The PT Porter is responsible for promptly addressing cleaning needs, managing waste disposal, and assisting with minor maintenance duties to uphold facility standards. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying areas that need attention and collaborating with other team members to support a clean and orderly environment. Ultimately, the PT Porter helps create a positive impression of the facility by ensuring it remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in custodial or porter roles.
Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas.
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, hallways, entrances, and common areas to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment or furniture for events or meetings as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and stored safely after use.
