The Publix Technology Services (PTS) Implementation Technician position will provide I T technical support for the Miami North area to primarily include installation of IT hardware in Publix retail stores. Our Implementation teams work a variable shift, based on demands of current projects or support schedule. Shifts will include overnight, evening, early morning, and/or daytime work, depending on the task. Occasional Sunday night work may be required. The exact schedule will be determined by the managing supervisor based upon the needs of the overall team. Why Join Us? Your Impact: Installation of desktop computers, servers, laser and thermal printers, point of sale systems, barcode scanners, weighing devices, and networking systems. Connecting and testing network cables, wireless devices, and other peripherals. Troubleshooting and resolving installation or connectivity issues. Coordinating with other IT staff or vendors as needed for complex installations. Traveling between assigned Publix stores to perform on-site work. Provide support in other geographic areas when required. Provide support of implementation projects by working a varied schedule, including some overnight shifts when required Travel out of town to install New Stores. Maintaining accurate van inventory to ensure all necessary parts are available for onsite repairs Candidate must live in the Miam, FL, or surrounding area, or must be willing to relocate there upon acceptance of the position
