Alternate Job Title: Portable Restroom Driver/Operator Job Summary: The CDL Pump Truck Driver operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck. Job Classification: Full-time & Part-time; non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Location: Brooksville/Spring Hill, FL

Requirements

  • Valid CDL license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a sanitation driver
  • Ability to operate a sanitation truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a sanitation truck to collect and dispose of waste materials
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste materials
  • Maintain accurate records of waste collection and disposal
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned
