The Purchasing Assistant will work with vendors to place orders for the products and raw materials that the business needs. Conduct administrative and support activities to keep the purchasing department running efficiently. Help maintain inventory and purchase records. Help conduct vendor research and selection to cut costs and enhance profitability or efficiency. This position also will run errands for the office often. This role requires excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to maintain and update paper and computerized purchasing records.
