Requirements

  • 4+ years of QA/QC experience in semiconductor, high‑tech manufacturing, or industrial projects.
  • Working knowledge of AMHS components and related mechanical/electrical/controls quality requirements.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, vendor manuals, and ITPs; strong redlining and as‑built documentation skills.
  • Experience with NCR/CAPA processes, punch list management, and turnover documentation.
  • Proficiency with quality/reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across field and engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • ASQ certification (CQI/CQA) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated expertise in precision mechanical alignment and torque control for track‑based systems.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, contamination control, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the AMHS project Quality Plan, ITPs, and checklists covering mechanical, electrical, and controls scopes.
  • Define acceptance criteria with internal, customer and vendor stakeholders; align quality controls with drawings, specifications, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Establish QC hold points and witness points for critical activities (e.g., OHT track alignment, torque verification, insulation resistance tests, controls I/O checks).
  • Perform in‑process and final inspections for OHT track installation, support structures, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Verify electrical workmanship and controls installation.
  • Oversee test execution for subsystem readiness: mechanical run‑outs, obstruction checks, power‑up checks, dry‑runs, and pre‑commissioning tests.
  • Maintain complete QC records.
  • Track quality KPIs and publish weekly dashboards.
  • Lead root‑cause analysis (5‑Why, Fishbone) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Facilitate quality walks, punch list reviews, and readiness gates for area turnover and commissioning.
  • Log, classify, and disposition NCRs/DRs; coordinate rework plans and retests.
  • Ensure timely closure of quality issues and verify restoration to specification through documented re‑inspection.
  • Partner with Superintendents, Mechanical Installers, Riggers, Electrical/Controls teams, and vendor field engineers to sequence inspections without impacting the schedule.
  • Participate in constructability and design reviews to prevent recurring defects.
  • Enforce internal and customer safety and cleanroom standards during inspections and testing.
  • Verify use of calibrated tools and adherence to torque specs, lift plans, ESD protocols, and FOD controls.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, site procedures, and OEM requirements.
