About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our Sports Coatings department. In this role, you will help ensure that all products meet required specifications and support overall product quality and consistency.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MS Office; proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret lab equipment data.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues, managers, customers, and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in time-sensitive situations.
• Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• High school diploma required; high school chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test production batches to ensure specifications are met.
• Adjust batches to bring results within specifications.
• Maintain accurate records, conduct data analysis, and identify trends.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform periodic testing of material retains and track results.
• Assist with color matching using color theory and spectrophotometry.
• Follow chemist instructions and support formulation adjustments.
• Strictly adhere to safety policies and established procedures.
• Maintain incoming raw material retains.
