About The Position

The QMS Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. The QMS Engineer works cross-functionally to drive quality culture, process discipline, and continual improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–7 years of experience as a QMS or Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements. Understand process approach and its process-based audit practices.
• Strong working knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan, PPAP etc.
• Experience with internal audits, including manufacturing process audit, CAPA, and root cause analysis
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Target oriented, including pushing team to get the job done on time.

Nice To Haves

• Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001)
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, automotive, or aerospace industries
• Familiarity with other standards (e.g., ISO 14001, IATF 16949, AS9100)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements
• Ensure QMS documentation (quality manual, procedures, work instructions, records) is controlled, current, and compliant
• Plan, conduct, and support internal audits (QMS audit and manufacturing process audit), supplier audits, customer audit and external certification audits
• Track audit findings, lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify effectiveness
• Support management reviews by preparing quality metrics, KPIs, and improvement action plans and track management review action plans for completion
• Maintain quality records and ensure traceability and data integrity
• Support employee training on QMS procedures and quality tools
• Promote quality awareness and a continuous improvement mindset across the organization
