About The Position
Quality Control Lead – Architectural Woodworking Fetzer Architectural Woodwork is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to support our high-end custom woodworking production team. This role ensures every product leaving our shop meets precise visual and dimensional standards. If you take pride in craftsmanship, accuracy, and solving problems in real time, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Experience in architectural woodworking, cabinetmaking, or custom millwork
- Strong ability to read and interpret shop drawings/specifications
- Close attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Professionalism, reliability, team-oriented, and pride in your work
Responsibilities
- Inspect custom millwork for visual excellence and dimensional accuracy
- Verify finished products match shop drawings and specifications
- Identify, document, and resolve quality issues in real time
- Partner with Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams to resolve quality challenges
- Track materials and maintain inventory quality controls
- Support continuous improvement in processes and craftsmanship
- Assist with QC training and quality documentation
