As part of the Supplier Quality Excellence (SQEx) team, this role will lead employees from the Supplier Quality Field Engineer team, partner with Supply Chain as the focal on supplier moves and new suppliers, and evolve the field engineer team through strategic projects. This team supports the streamlined and consistent execution of supplier quality tasks across RMS lines of business, and participates in corporate level initiatives, engaging with representatives from all business areas. This position leads formal and informal teams, and will work with internal functions including supply chain, production operations, and engineering as well as external suppliers and customers. This position is fully remote and supports employees both internationally and domestically, but preference will be given to candidates near Stratford, CT.

Requirements

Technical / Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to perform as a Full Spectrum Leader
Ability to develop a vision for an organization and develop and implement tactical actions to achieve the vision
Process improvement / process control experience
Understanding of supplier quality, procurement, and/or operations
Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships
Experience working complex projects from start to finish
Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical methods
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations

Understanding of AS9100 requirements
Knowledge of Solumina, Apriso, P2P and/or SAP
Data querying/ reporting
Aerospace Quality, Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing experience
