About The Position

You will be the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, leading a team of Producibility, Tooling and Risk Reduction Quality Engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers on time every time. Our team is responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures for manufactured and procured products. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineering Associate Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and resolving process issues, developing talent and looking for ways to continuously improve the products we deliver and the processes we use to do so. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Your responsibilities will include: -Reviewing documentation to ensure quality products are delivered to customers -Analyzing quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions -Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards -Ensuring that Quality best practices and lessons learned are utilized in the selection of new suppliers, the redesign of components, selection of inspection processes and resolution of defect drivers -Leading a team who interface with customers and program personnel -Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement Why Join Us If you're a collaborative leader with a passion for quality excellence and process improvement, we want you to join our team. Requirements

  • Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience with root cause and corrective action methods and implementations
  • Experience with inspection planning and the selection of appropriate inspection methods
  • Supplier Quality Experience
  • Experience reviewing engineering requirements and qualification of components/systems
  • Experience verifying/validating processes
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • STEM degree at bachelors' level or higher preferred
  • Previous leadership experience or team lead experience
