Documents any deviations according to product specifications and established quality standards. Follows safety regulations, quality standards, and established company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification from an accredited school.
  • 3 or more years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in manufacturing setting.
  • Proficient with common measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and weld gages.
  • Proficient reading blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management system.
  • US Citizen Required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing floor setting and required to follow the PPE requirements.
  • Ability to communicate with managers, engineering, and quality regarding production and issues.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive motion including but not limited to lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position

Nice To Haves

  • Formal education in quality field is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, parts, and/or finished products, ensuring they meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and document any defects in non-conforming materials and generate the necessary documentation following the procedures established by the Quality System and the company.
  • Inspect and document critical dimensional and surface characteristics following company and customer standards.
  • Develop operational procedures and methods as required.
  • Notify the immediate supervisor of any nonconformities or deviations detected compared to the company's established quality standards.
  • Maintain updated inspection records following the company's established procedures.
  • Ensure completed pack out and kits using product guidelines and company standards.
  • Participate in and document the results of audits of the finished product and/or processes following the formats established by the company.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as required.
