About The Position

Position Overview:The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, parts, and/or finished products on the production lines. Documents any deviations according to product specifications and established quality standards. Follows safety regulations, quality standards, and established company policies and procedures. In this function you will: Inspect raw materials, parts, and/or finished products, ensuring they meet product specifications and quality standards. Identify and document any defects in non-conforming materials and generate the necessary documentation following the procedures established by the Quality System and the company. Inspect and document critical dimensional and surface characteristics following company and customer standards.Develop operational procedures and methods as required. Notify the immediate supervisor of any nonconformities or deviations detected compared to the company's established quality standards. Maintain updated inspection records following the company's established procedures. Ensure completed pack out and kits using product guidelines and company standards.Participate in and document the results of audits of the finished product and/or processes following the formats established by the company. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification from an accredited school.
• 3 or more years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in manufacturing setting.
• Proficient with common measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and weld gages.
• Proficient reading blueprints and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management system.
• US Citizen Required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing floor setting and required to follow the PPE requirements.
• Ability to communicate with managers, engineering, and quality regarding production and issues.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Repetitive motion including but not limited to lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position

Nice To Haves

• Formal education in quality field is a plus.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred
