About The Position

We make an extraordinary product that requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to unmatched quality standards. As our Quality Inspector, you’ll work on our pack out team and you’ll be first and last line of defense focused on quality control (QC). You’ll make sure all incoming production parts that go into Seakeepers meet the quality standards we have set for ourselves as well as give the completed Seakeeper units have one last review before they ship out to our (soon-to-be) happy owners. You’ll ensure all products meet the defined requirements by: Inspecting Seakeeper units prior to shipping and ensuring defined standards are met Inspector will be expected to process units alongside Packout team to ensure smooth flow of units through Packout process Identifying and documenting non-conforming products, primarily via visual inspection Documenting non-conforming material encountered via a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) Identifying and elevating continuing quality issues for higher-level analysis

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform manual measurements using a tape measure or calipers
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-centric attitude at all times
  • Strong analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Superior time management, multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (8–12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces
  • Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping
  • Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision
  • Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements
  • Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education or related training
  • 1+ year of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with inspection equipment and tools
