Quality Intern
About The Position
Join the quality team at ZF Gray Court Transmissions to ensure superior quality and timely deliverables for our customers. What you can look forward to as a Quality Intern: Support on maintaining quality documents, including control plans, PFMEAs, and work instructions. Support on quality topics in daily/weekly cross-functional meetings Support on organizing and managing PPAP documentation and capability studies Support on monitoring internal quality performance, including rejections, sorting, chargebacks, corrective actions, and monthly PPM reporting. Support on reviewing scrap data, identifying root causes for top losses, and driving 8D/Root Cause Analysis activities. Support on improving process reliability by collecting, analyzing, and reporting inspection and performance data. Support training operators on new process changes, and customer concerns using Work Instructions, Quality Alerts, and OPLs. Maintain documentation systems and complete additional quality-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- Knowledge of SPC and Control Charts
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Industrial or Mechanical Engineering student
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of 8D, 3X5 WHY, Fishbone and Six Sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of Minitab
Responsibilities
