About The Position

The intern position will involve the completion of improvement projects within operations. The position will also involve any other responisibilities as described by management in order to improve and/or support operations. What you can look forward to as a Quality Intern: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all departments Perform activities in coordination with other ZFTG departments related to process improvement, evaluation, and documentation. Develop, monitor, analyze, and improve KPIs for assigned projects. Utilize basic quality tools along with six sigma and lean manufacturing techniques in the support of continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Assist with quality department procedure and work instruction development as needed. Participates in departmental meetings to aid in organizational planning, reaching objectives, and reviewing activities, results, and policies. Follow all company and customer policies and procedures. Must support manufacturing’s goal of continuous improvement. Your Profile as a Quality Intern: Must currently be enrolled in college as a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student Must have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale Working towards a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Excellent written and oral communication (to include presentations). Fluent application of position related software (Microsoft Office) Good time management with strong organizational and task management skills. Requirements

  • Must currently be enrolled in college as a freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student
  • Must have a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
  • Working towards a degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • Excellent written and oral communication (to include presentations).
