Quality Lab Technician
About The Position
The Quality Lab Technician reports findings to production and support operations as required. Laboratory Technicians may also suggest quality improvements to management. Work Schedule Saturday through Tuesday – 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing analytical testing of raw and finished goods, which requires working knowledge of laboratory chemical handling as well as proficiency in using an analytical balance. Routinely will work outside in inclement conditions (ballistic testing/burning ground) Will be required to lift 50 pounds. This position would report to the Lab and Quality Manager
Requirements
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must demonstrate competency and proficiency in the following skills and/or abilities: o Interpersonal skills o Basic computer skills
- Must have or be willing to obtain Class C CDL with hazmat endorsement
- Knowledge of explosives and hazardous materials handling
Nice To Haves
- Preferred 2-year college degree or its equivalent as a combination of education and experience
