About The Position

Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, equipment, panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications. Interprets manufacturing drawings, diagrams, specifications and lists to approve or reject units, test setups, or systems for in process or final assemblies. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company and test standards. Determines or assists in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

  • Height gage and surface plate inspection
  • Clean Room inspection knowledge
  • PCB inspection background
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, tests, and audits of purchased parts, materials, and assemblies
  • Interpret manufacturing drawings, diagrams, and specifications to approve or reject units
  • Maintain documentation and perform sampling and testing of components and raw materials
  • Review and report performance data to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Determine inspection methods and procedures
  • Interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers
  • Conduct receiving inspection transactions in RIDs, reviewing material certs, and completing inspection reports
  • Analyze measurement results and provide comprehensive reports to engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Work closely with the program team to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, CAD data, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
