As a Quality Technician II, you will partner closely with engineering, production, and inspection teams to ensure product conformity and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2+ years of quality experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with mechanical inspection and gaging techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Keyence LM-1000 or similar vision systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, medical, or other regulated industries
  • Programming experience with CMM, Micro-Vu, or similar systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain inspection plans for receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.
  • Program and operate vision inspection systems (Keyence and similar equipment).
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished products using blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Support quality management system (QMS) activities and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and non-conforming material processes.
  • Train team members on inspection methods, equipment, and procedures.
  • Create bubble drawings and support GD&T interpretation.
  • Perform statistical analysis, including capability studies and Gage R&R.
  • Ensure gages and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained.
