About The Position

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment Inspect, reject or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally and other Q.C. requirements Documentation and recordkeeping Control the removal of monogram from non-conforming product Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures Other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS Wear appropriate PPE Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work in factory environment with large range in temperature changes Ability to stand, walk, bend / stoop up to 12 hours daily Ability to push / pull up to 12 hours daily Ability to make repetitive movement (shoveling / sweeping / fastening) up to 12 hours daily Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly Dependable & punctual Travel less than 10% EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in manufacturing environment High School diploma or equivalent Basic math Trained into API Q1 and ISO 9001 Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge, and other inspection equipment Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations NOV is an equal opportunity employer.
