Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate's degree in industrial/manufacturing tech a plus.
  • 2–3 years in manufacturing or quality environments.
  • Understanding of process improvement and quality principles.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent judgment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and critical features.
  • Clear communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with consistent follow‑through.
  • Computer proficiency for recordkeeping and quality documentation.
  • Familiarity with measurement and test equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test products for cosmetic, dimensional, and functional quality.
  • Clean and handle parts to prevent contamination or damage.
  • Verify CMM printouts and identify discrepancies.
  • Laser‑engrave parts per specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometers.
  • Record inspection data, certifications, and critical features accurately.
  • Maintain quality records and ensure proper document control.
  • Review routers for accuracy throughout the inspection flow.
  • Write non‑conformance reports as needed.
  • Print and scan barcode labels, shipping papers, and related documents.
  • Follow critical control points and preventive measures.
  • Assist in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Ensure packaging meets both internal and customer standards.
  • Communicate quality concerns to office and shop teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers as needed.
  • Participate in new program launches and process improvements.
  • Perform additional duties that support the Quality Management System.
