Quality Technician, 1st shift | Beaver Dam Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Quality Technician I: $23.00/hour Quality Technician II: $25.50/hour Quality Technician III: $27.00/hour The Quality Technician I/II/III is responsible for facilitating the parts quality process throughout the organization. In partnership with internal business units, this role ensures the precision and inspection of parts moving into the facility. This role supports Quality Management Systems, drives data collection, reporting and analysis. Partners with leaders in the daily operation of an area with responsibility to improve quality systems, processes, and performance.

Requirements

  • Quality Technician I Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 0–3 years in quality Problem Solving: Basic Leadership: Supports team communication and metrics Technical Knowledge: Basic drawing, wiring, schematic interpretation; intermediate PC skills
  • Quality Technician II Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent Experience: 3+ years in quality Problem Solving: Moderate Leadership: Leads team communication on quality metrics and project countermeasures; ability to train others Technical Knowledge: Intermediate knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, NMR, ECR, SPC, ISO processes; CMM programming knowledge
  • Quality Technician III Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience: 5+ years in quality or Certified Quality Technician preferred Problem Solving: Advanced, including cross-functional issues Leadership: Leads multiple teams or departments; mentors and trains others Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of all QC tools, ISO systems, and process improvement methodologies; design audits and complex corrective actions

Responsibilities

  • Lead problem solving for quality issues.
  • Implement resolutions from basic to complex problems.
  • Implement process improvements.
  • Lead team adherence to Quality Control Plans and mistake proofing.
  • Conduct process and product audits.
  • Conduct standardized problem-solving and corrective actions.
  • Support gage/tool calibration and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R).
  • Participate in MRB review and corrective actions.
  • Adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations.
  • Maintain professional rapport with peers and support groups
  • Communicate issues and countermeasures to Supervisor
  • Perform reading, writing, and math functions
  • Commitment to continuous learning and quality standards
