About The Position

The Coordinator will facilitate and coordinate assigned quote activity within the company, establishing new and improved standard quoting processes and systems. This role involves delivering accurate and comprehensive product quotes based on financial analysis, industry experience, and logical reasoning.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance.
One to two years of experience in an office environment.
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and cost reduction techniques.
Strong timeline management skills with experience in manufacturing quotes.
Ability to apply general rules to specific problems.
Ability to form general rules from pieces of information.
Extensive experience with Excel and other database programs.
Strong knowledge of MRP systems.
Organizational skills to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
Sound written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and coordinate assigned quote activity.
Deliver and present accurate product quotes.
Apply logic and sanity check all material and other costs.
Collaborate with the quote team and engineering to ensure lowest possible costs.
Coordinate quote kickoffs and review RFQ templates.
Work with finance and IT to enhance the quote process.
Coordinate with engineering and materials quoting team for timely delivery.
Challenge teams to provide low-cost solutions.
Analyze data and compare KTC quotes to target pricing.
Establish pricing models for each customer to increase margins and revenue.
Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems.
Manage multiple quotes simultaneously and meet timelines.
Review and analyze material costs, routings, and custom tooling.
Initiate, attend, and lead meetings to support quoting activities.
