Role Summary: This internship offers hands‑on experience contributing to the development, testing, and improvement of automation technologies used across global logistics systems. Interns will support real product and tooling initiatives while learning electromechanical system behavior, industrial software concepts, and R&D engineering workflows. Essential Functions Learn the electromechanical operation of automated material‑handling and logistics equipment. Participate in the development and refinement of control algorithms for new and existing automation equipment. Assist with testing, validation, and debugging of electromechanical and software‑driven systems. Document design decisions, code updates, test results, and engineering guidelines. Support the creation and improvement of engineering tools and processes used across R&D projects. Collaborate with mechatronics, controls, and software engineers on cross‑functional product development efforts. Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability. Gain exposure to modern engineering standards, test processes, and development tools.
